Bought one of these for work. Discontinued, but marked down from £250 to £70.

Got mine delivered by play.com this morning - looks cool in white and sounds very very good for £70 - just having a play with it

Thanks for the heads-up Simon

Supposedly conduct better therefore spark harder. I'll need some hard facts before I believe it though. ;-)

Cheers Rich.

I can't see how it would spark harder though. There is no extra power being introduced into the system (unless the coils are damaged/corroded) I'd like to see a back to back test done comparing a new OEM coilpack against one of these, showing the difference in spark produced.

Edit - I've just read the bumf and apparently they have a "power amplifier" in them to produce 4x the energy. Still want to see that proven though.

http://www.okadaprojects.com/usa/products_direct.htm

Edit 2 - Just seen the price  :surprised: :surprised:

Circa £500 for a set of coilpacks!! I'd want a daily chew included for that  Unless someone can prove to me, by testing back to back on an independent dyno, they smooth out the curve AND give an increase in power & torque. I think this is going to be a solution for a problem that doesn't exist imho.

Danish I'll be interested to hear your thoughts.  :happy2:

Still waiting for the dyno results from this thread to materialise, but it all went conveniently quiet.

Just spent a zillion euro in Rossi shop in tavullia :signLOL: on tat

You'll have to go back next year for Yam stuff now. I presume you know he is off to Yamaha. Official announcement on the 15th, but it's not a secret any more, if ever it was.

Anyway  :worthless:

So let's see what you bought.

I got them from Elite Car Care. They weren't on any deal though that I'm aware of.  :happy2:
