nice work guys. so we have determined that GPS is useless so no one will ever know how fast any car can go and that robin has DRL's!  :laugh:

there is some valuable unput in this thread including hurdys post that i find interesting. the gearing is interesting in particular as some think its only good for 153 whilst others sat 170 odd, will be interesting to see what revo /apr/ giac etc think but i suppose its unlikely they would say.

....The bottom line is that when the circumstances are appropriate, any speed over 130 mph is shall we say 'fun'. In the Golf I must say that I feel more comfortable up to about 130 because the car feels somewhat lighter above that and the power isn't there so much. It's not really designed for much higher speeds.

A shot from a sprint whilst on hols abroad
not arsed about speedo being out, it was fast and i had to slow up or id of nailed it more
