h&r springs uneven ride height
« on: May 29, 2010, 11:51:51 pm »
hi all i fitted a set of h&r springs to my car and now the ride height is uneven,i have checked to make sure the springs are all the way there meant to be and this is the measurements i got from the top of wheel centre to the arch
drivers front 302mm     passenger front 316mm
drivers rear 310mm      passenger rear 301mm

surely the springs are odd sizes i cant imagine it being anything else, has anyone had the same problem

Normally the drivers side is slightly lower due to the engine and fuel tank, not that much though.

presuming it was defo on the fllat when measured!

Are the Struts properly located on the front? Can be quit difficult to locate the struts to the bottom of the hubs when installing. Worth checking this on the passenger front. Which H&R springs do you have, Will check the the height of mine when I get a chance.

i've already checked everything, the springs locate on the dampers and are the right way up,the back ones look fine so cant really see what else it could be
