Blueflame\Holding up exhaust
« on: June 02, 2010, 12:34:29 pm »
Its really bugging me now, the exhaust isn't strait and is at an angle.

is there some kind of head resistant ties or similar i can get hold off to hold it up in the middle (between the wheel arms) as the weight of that is causing this.

Hi Steve, did you ring the guys at blueflame im sure Dave Pike will help. Looks similar to how mine was sat when it was incorrectly fitted as the whole section is twisted. best bet would be if you can try and get up there to them and they will sort it out

your looks a very easy fix to me. jack rear end up and rest on axle stands stick your head under the car and find the first  exhaust clamp you see , undo it and spray some wd40 on the join then give exhaust a twist upwards on the join and then do the clamp back up and its job done

Mods yes but way too many to stick in this little box

Yeh I think you need to slacken off all the joints, give it a twist and a wiggle :P then tighten it all back up again
