Colour codeing me gti
« on: June 08, 2010, 08:34:09 pm »
Hi, im new to this website but loving it already!!!

ive got 3door grey gti really want it colour codeing taken look at few pics on this site makes hell difference!!! Wondering how much it would cost me? Ive been told the bumper etc need to be rubbed down smooth quite alot work involved, if so is it a easy job taking the back bumper, skirts, front off doing the prep work myself, then getting them sprayed.

Be greatful for any advise

The cost will vary depending on bodyshop but i would set aside £4-500!

If your confident enough with rubbing it down there would be no harm in doing it yourself but dont expect it to be easy :chicken:

Chase Automotive in Cannock in the Midlands did my front splitter, skirts, and rear bumper, sanded, primed and coded for £300

What a coincidence, I live in Wolves too.
The work was really good, took them 5 days to do it all, though you can drop off if wanted.
One or two small scuffs, and chips that were not there before, but nothing too drastic,
See my pics on the members rides to see what it looks like before and after.
