Is blue a rare colour??

Hi guys,

Is blue classed as a rare colour for a GTI? I know the ED30's arent available in blue but in general I haven't seen many in blue Gti's around?
When I had my Lupo, Raven Blue and Antracite were both classed as "rare colours" so just wandering what is most common colours in the Mk5?

I am guessing Red and black?

It is fairley rare as vw soon discontuined it after the launch.

Yes, the Laser blue is the rare blue, think it was discontinued by 2006 so a laser blue gti is indeed a rare gti!

I've only seen one blue one... ever.

I've seen a few in Laser Blue, but can't recall ever seeing a Shadow Blue one.

Is that shadow blue? Wow! That's very nice, I have only seen the petroleum blue so far but the shadow blue looks ace! :jumpmove:

IIRC it was discontinued on the GTI 6 months after launch.

I remember buying my MKiV from new - 1.8T Indigo Blue.. 6 miles on the clock - loved it!

Those alloys make the car look amazing (2nd pic). Good choice on not colour coding, provides a nice contrast to the alloys :smiley:
