Bulb out warning light on dash.

Came on today on way to work.Checked car with my mate & only have brake light's in spoiler coming on, i take it it must be the fuse with them both out ?.
Thing is hand book is at home so could you please let me know which fuse it is & where the fuse box is please ?. :happy2:

Drivers side panel between dash and door, use your key to prise it open it will pop off. The fuse assignments are on this site somewhere I had gem recently but I'm on iPhone right now. Good luck.

It may still be the bulbs, I had both dip beams go simultaneously on an old Peugeot I had, apparently it happens due to the extra surge of power going to the good bulb when the other one blows. If it’s the brake/tail light (with the single filament) you could try the reverse of fog light bulb to check.  :happy2:

yes mate hole light unit has 2 come out 8mm or 10mm spanner is req cnt remember exactly wot 1 dude

Sorted. Got in to drive home tonight & when i turned the ignition on  a message on the dash came up saying right rear stop light out. Mate at work must be like Stevie Wonder cause he swore they were both out  :grin:

Just bear in mind you may also have a faulty brake light switch, Just get it checked on vag com

.........just bulb mate,you could see the brake & the glass was a bit black.Everything works perfect now.  :happy2:

Happened to me a short while ago that, bloody useless Peugeots. Could at least have driven home if it didnt blow both of them  :fighting:
