That's way overpriced. I reckon I could build a similarly spec'd or more powerful rig for £2k.

Used to play CSS religiously and had a decent system. All outdated of course now but you should be able to get something decent for the budget.

Like someone else said post up the spec and we can suggest alternatives or upgrades.

well get rid of norton straight away waste of money. I will look over the rest later as it will be quieter at work

novatech is a good company but can be over priced.

My 1st impression is you can do better for the price,

Are you still ok with the 1k price or we sticking to the £812?

My recommendation is:

http://www.wired2fire.co.uk/build.php?systype=2&fsb=16

Customise away...the base unit is a very good on its own.

i couldn't decide what the best spec to go for, we spec'd the system as a base, in that in the future you would be able to add the 2nd gpu and maybe an SSD. We haven't included a optical drive as id probably stick the one out of the old machine into it until games need blueray and then buy a blueray drive?

Comments to the above system, needs a 2nd GPU, get rid of norton and if you have the cash splash for the i7, although there isnt much thats going to be using it now in the future you will be better off with an i7 than an i5.

My system came to £945.00

i did do this at 4am so my apologies!
