VW thought the corrosion problem in my car will not go under corrosion warranty but under paint warranty (which has expired ofc).  No problem for me since we had agreed with the previous owner that he will pay for the painting in case VW wont repair it.

Not too happy to hear that VW are not willing to pay for it but on the other hand I get to colour code my side skirts and bumbers at the same time now when I get the door step painted.    :jumpmove:

After colour coding the skirts and bumbers I'll install the -30mm H&R springs and start looking for the place to get my baby remapped. I got a pretty nice deal with this BSR kit:

Still considering the local dealers custom map or REVO. With the local dealer Im saving 450 and with REVO around 200.

Very sorry for still no upgrading pics of the corrosion!! I'll try to get some pics before it gets repaired.

Got a sweat deal from the local body shop: fixing and painting the corrosion damage + colour coding the rear bumber, skirts and front bumber (service inc. everything - all I need to do is take the car to them)

450 euros (376£)

And the previous owner pays most of that ;)  :pomppomp:

Time for some update after the long and cold winter :)

New wheels and tyres: Calibre Frictions 19x8 et45 with Vredestein Ultra Sessantas 235/35/19

Im running with H&R sport springs and I'm rubbing with this setup in heavy turns. I think I'll have to mod the archs... Shouldn't be a big of deal?

Also installed the Superchips Stage 1 map into my car. Im so in love with it all over again!!
Couple weeks and I'll be drooling for a new intake and downpipe for Stage2 :)

I think the screw mod gave it enough space not to rub anymore!  :happy2:

Btw should this post be under "Members rides". I remembered adding a topic there long time ago but couldn't find it now.
