My 08 Steel Grey GTI

I finally fitted some new wheels last night as I just couldn't live with 17's anymore! Thought I'd post a couple of pics!





I need some spacers for the back as these are et54 BBS 2 piece splits from an A3 and don't sit far enough out for my liking!

Thank you! I'll post some decent pictures up as soon as I get chance to clean it! It needs lowering I think, but I'm real pleased with the wheels.........

 :grin: almost mate, its an iphone app called hipstamatic, supposed to replicate old school camera prints! I'll take some better ones asap, its in for service today but I'll get some up soon!

Thanks bud, that's the next step..... any recommendations? I don't want to go the whole hog with coil-overs etc, but would like a spring kit that doesn't compromise the cars abilities? I don't want to make any further mods after that, except perhaps a remap and a bit of colour coding here and there!

eibach sport lines or H&R.

Ive had the sportlines in for about 35k miles and they are schweet. I love them

Springs are about £150 from memory plus about £100 fitting!  :happy2:

Thats good news, thought they might be a bit steeper than that! I assume this will invalidate my warranty....... I may have to wait til it expires next month!

Invalidate the warranty on the springs you take off maybe but nothing else!  :happy2:
