The service guys have been extremely helpful despite not selling me a car. Their attention to detail in warranty work, servicing, and customer care have been impressive. They will advise me if work I've asked to be carried out doesn't, in their view, require it, and always lend me a car at no cost. EDIT 17/08/10 Sadly these guys have blown it by being very difficult over the replacement of my Monza 2's under warranty due to white worm. See:

So from now on, I'll be taking the GTI to F Cross & Sons Grimsby who had no problem replacing all 4, despite JCT refusing to change 2 of them.
