i dont no which one to get so if you have any experiance of your prefered tire please say why you have it and what kind of milage you are getting out of a set :)

Anyway to answer the OP's question before I am accused of further meanness.  :P

You need to add Goodyear Eagle Asymmetrics to the list and those would be my preferred choice along with PS3's.
However as it's a mapped front-wheel drive car get used to replacing them frequently  :wink:

I'm just playing Hedge (don't get your frilly knickers in a twist!)  :P  :signLOL:

My vote would be for the Vreds, got them on now and had them on my old golf. Great value for money, especially as they're on offer at the mo. I can only compare them to Dunlop TTs though. They seem to grip alot better in the wet, got nice n meaty tread, they look good too.

Heard a lot of good reviews for the Asymmetrics, but also heard a few problems with them too.

The toyos may be a little cheaper but I don't think they wear too well.

lol yes i do mean tyre, i always spell it tire, i dont no why :( lol, i was looking at the Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta as my mates got them on her st  :fighting: and she loves them :)

I have the Vreds on my Stage2+ and to be honest I find that they are a bit lively since having the work done. They are good in the wet but I think i will be trying something different when they reach the end of their life!

how many miles are people getting out of a set?? i do about 10,000 miles a year and i dont realy want to have more than one set per year, but id like a good grippy set, so might have to comprimise slightly :)

I wouldn't go for the Sessantas if you want longevity - I use them on my car and find they wear very quickly.
