European Removals help - Van Owners?
« on: August 09, 2010, 11:33:40 am »

They say moving house is the most stressful thing you'll ever do!

Have to move our stuff from Rotherham, South Yorks to Germany to move into our first Military
home on 27th August.
Don't really have that much stuff, but way too much for the Mrs Polo and My Leon is sat in
Germany.

All the quotes for 1 transit sized van load are around £700 - £800.

Any body either know any man & van services or good european van rentals?
Or even able to come on a road trip to Germany to return a van to Uk?

Bit stuck for ideas...  :sad1:

What about some of the bigger companies like Pickfords, etc?

Might sound daft, but is there any kind of courier or pallet type thing you could use to shift a load of stuff then take some by car when you go yourself?
Pallet piled up with boxes and cling film wrapped etc could fit a lot on and might not be too much as it doesnt need to be next day or anything.
