is the bonnet actually painted or wrapped? If the latter, it can be removed. It does look better as it is imo.

The rear windows are privacy glass - again, another option that's good to have.

The bonnet is painted, and for it to be done, back to white is going to cost £250, as the black paint job was just masked off and painted over the top of the white bonnet, so the black paint is raised and chipping away.

The tint is far too dark, I'am picking up a steam gun, and taking it all of this weekend

See if you can pick up a set of BBS VZ's as these look identical to Pescara's but have a better offset and are 8'' wide so sit in the arches much better! 

PS, see if someone with a CW GTI wants to swap bonnets with you!

Why do people paint it like that these days? Surely wrapping it would be the better/cheaper option?

Nice one & low millage, I was worried about the edge of the paint chipping, but mine is the other way round (painted white on black carbon bonnet). I was going to pin stripe over the edge if it happened but its been ok.

Just doing a bit of Sunday trawling and found this.

1313 still going strong  Needs a lick of paint but that’s no surprise at 143k miles.
