They were fitted for hot climate countries, some on here say no point fiting on uk cars and may cause issues. Personally had them fitted for a couple of years with no issues but i fitted because i liked the look of them.

They do look good though as the centre grill is 'open' so now matches.

I was hoping it might keep the DSG a bit cooler but am now probably talking bollocks!

On UK spec cars, categorically NOT.  Why do you think the very early Mk5 GTIs had open-ish fog grilles, but then subsequently closed them.  VW did that for a reason. :wink:

Anyway when they came one vent was completely blocked anyway.

The other had a angled channel to direct air somewhere.

Perfect fit and £34 for both u can't go wrong!!!
