Guys, slightly off topic.... Where are you buying the DVs from? Main dealer? I would recommend you use these guys:

http://www.thetradepartsspecialists.co.uk/

Thanks for this there is one just round the corner from me and they have longer opening hours that the main dealer.
I too thought they were trade only. :happy2:

No worries mate. One thing I like about them is that most the parts are in stock and if they arnt then they will order them in for the next day without asking for payment first! Great service.

I feel stupid but

what does DV stand for?

was thinking 'diverter valve' but people call it a DV valve, which would mean diverter valve valve?

Can mean either I think.

Dump valves tend to 'dump' the excess into the atmosphere.

Divertor valves will recirculate the air back into the system.

Although I could be very wrong ha

Ok so I fitted a rev D DV yesterday...........all I can say is WOW!

The car is transformed!! Having took off the old one which took forever as there is no room to work, it looked fine with no holes etc. (slightly hoping it was broke to justify my spend).

I fitted the new one and the difference is like day and night! :happy2: The turbo kicks in much sooner with no noticeable "whoosh, schoo" noises.

I had to admit I was a bit sceptical following some of the stories of people fitting it and experiencing what they deemed worse performance.

I'm really pleased with the results :jumpmove:

Just spent a while reading through this thread and sounds like I could be in need of the upgraded DV valve. I couldnt find it after a quick search on google, would anyone like to point me in the right direction as to where I can purchase it online?
