Under seat storage tray question

I would like one of these as it would be very handy to keep small items in, But can anyone tell me if i could fit one under the passenger seat even though there is an amplifier under there,
Before you ask. it can't go under the drivers seat because that's where the previous owner put the cd changer.

I would say don't bother as the drawer is very shallow and doesn't hold much stuff.
