don't know if any of you lot are convoying to Santa Pod from the south on M1, but there's a few of us via uk-mkivs meeting up at Toddington Services at 8.30am to convoy over.

I'll be on the strip for some 1/4mile action hopefully!  :happy2:

not really. gates open at 8am. drag strip opens at 10am. we'll get there for 9am or just after depending on how busy it is on way in.

for those who want to go on the strip, you'll need to start queuing up and sign on etc.

:happy2:

you won't know until a couple of hours in how many cars have turned up.

you can always wait till the end of the day i suppose.

the problem is having to wait in the queue, so u can't see any action.  this could take an hour!!!

....

Today is the bad weather and tomorrow's forecast at The Pod is good : -

"Sunday: After a cold and frosty start, a dry and mainly sunny day is expected with light southwesterly winds.
A pleasant day, but still feeling a cool. Maximum temperature 10 °C"

you entering show and shine?

if not, why bother cleaning it!

its pissing it down outside tho at the mo, might throw some shampoo on it lol.

if you've never done 1/4 mile before at santa pod, you should, just for the crack. its a good laugh.

think i did 14.9 when i first got the car, in totally standard form.

the weather forecast looks good for tomorrow.  :happy2:
