If I bring a spade, we could dig our own bog trenches!
I hope you can build a good dam too - when 'urgency' calls, I've got more force than a Barnes Wallace implement being released from the underbelly of a Lanc!  :ashamed:  :rolleye:

Around 9-10am arrival. But some may be arriving after 11am.
Uh - OK.  So quite a relaxed agenda.  :happy2:

Without wanting to read through all 20 pages (it's Strictly time) - do I need to aim for any particular car park?

I've made adjustments to the Revo settings (B7T5F9) but haven't had a chance to test it out properly (too much traffic earlier on). So hopefully will be able to trial it properly tomorrow.
Have fun! :happy2:

Serious question - are there plenty of bogs near to where you are all 'assembling'?

And what time are you all getting there?

Stealth - did you get your clutch bled?  If not, I can bring my bleed kit & fluid and do it for you in the car park (if I make it).  I think the bleed nipple is 9mm - if anyone can check that - it'd be a help.

Then we need to set off earlier!

No - I was planning on doing it with the 3rd service on T&D in two months' time. Can it not be done as part of the brake fluid change? If not, I'm very happy for you to have a bash at it!  :happy2:

Just a reminder: try and bring cameras/video cameras and make sure they're charged.

I would really love our own version of this:

Routine clutch fluid change isn't part of the service, nor the brake fluid change.  The stealer would probably only do it if you lined their pockets with an extra £30 or so.

I think as we discussed, I was going to get them to change the brake fluid too - on the phone, they'd offered it as an extra at the time of the 2nd year T&D servicing but when I took the car in, I was told I didn't need it and they cancelled it! Otherwise it would have been done.

Cash isn't the problem. Getting the job adequately done is. Just figured it'd be easier to get it done all at the same time (service + brake fluid + clutch). Like I said, I'm happy for you to do it too.

One request: could you bring some of that grease to put on the engine cover mounts? The thing's a pig to remove.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Weather has been intermittent here near santa pod.
Sunny intervals with the odd bit of rain.

Forecast looks promising for tomorrow, sunny all day.

Which is good
news seeing as the strip takes 3hrs to dry!
