I tres this before, and you will need parts and wiring to be it going, the mirror aren't cheap either unless you get scrap ones

The glass only on the passenger side used to tilt down when I put the car in reverse with the adjust knob selected to the left mirror like Mat said

Stick your mirror switch on the left mirror and stick it in reverse it should work

yeah thats what im after,ive tried it and doesn't do it on my gt.i dont want the mirrors to fold just the glass to tilt down

may be an idea, see what 3 digit codes you have, also was your car new when you got it, did you order it ?
