A good 1000 miles now on the new GY-F1v2. They grip so so well, very impressed. I doubt you'll get better performance from a 'normal' road tyre.  :happy2:

Not had chance to use the Gtechniq window sealant yet, been too busy trying to sort our house out and the endless list of things that need doing.

Car looks like a tip!  :sad1:

I have the sealant on all the windows.  Hologramed on the windscreen for some reason, but vanished after a second wipe over.

It's not rained yet so I can't really give an opinion.

Am loving the well chosen mods  :happy2:

Im swaying towards the F1v2's myself. I had the v1's before and was very impressed with them.

I have a couple of Q's about them if you dont mind  :innocent:

Is the turn in as good as the v1's?
Are they as quiet and comfortable as the v1's?

Also are you stiil looking to fit some TT arms?

Jon... They seem pretty similar to the v1 but just all round a bit better. Turn in is fine (it's never gonna be electrifying due to the fairly slow steering rack). Noise levels are good and grip is brilliant. I can't recommend them enough for fast road tyres. In my ed30 it's hard to get it to understeer or oversteer (just a fraction too much body roll really)

I've not really driven it much for fun over the last 2 weeks so Friday it got a whacking... It's just hilarious to drive!

Having washed my cars without a hose pipe for the last 3 years, using a hose pipe today on my drive was a bit of a novelty.  :signLOL:

The Gtechniq wheel sealant is good, but its not up to repelling the fallout from drilled brake discs.

Hmmm... tonights journey didnt make me smile.

Funny metallic rattly noise on half throttle in 6th gear @80MPH. The climate control seems to be being a bit temperamental, the fans don't seem to want to blow that hard even on MAX, and it doesnt seem to want to get very cold or very hot.

Rich

Is there anything you'd recommend for calipers. Preferably something quickly available at

Sorry to hear about the gremlins

Is the rattle low revs, setting off etc?

When are you booked in?
