Cheers Alex water meth is in the pipeline im guessing this "Race" map is to take into account the extra octane from the meth 60hp is quite a big jump though, sorry to be a little off topic :happy2:

Alex, is the race file the one that will request 2.0bar when on boost 9?

In your opinion what needs upgrading internals wise to support a hybrid turbo?

Same map you have on the Golf.  On the ed30 engine it should be just about ok as the hybrid will only hold a little more boost than peak higher.  Deffo need rods with this map on a GTi engine even with normal K04 imo.

The hybrid is just a larger comp wheel rather than exhaust wheel too.  Just not worth going much larger on a K04 as the housings are too small and it will start producing more heat than power.  Only really worth going hybrid if your original turbo has died as its not a massive gain.

I know that car. It's a close friend of mine (Cristian). It was a GTI, and he bought the K04 from a friend of mine also. So no hybrid in this one :D

420HP is impressive
How the hell did it make 420 though????? The mods seem no different to most on here???

Would be nice to see what power it made at the wheels.  All this 'made up' calculated flywheel power nonsense.

A massive amount of timing has been added to this map and could really be used with the water/meth and race fuel.

He was with 9 boost, 9 timing, 9 afr. And at 9 timing, the timing retard was 0  :drinking:

At the wheels the power was 360whp

There is your answer.  360 at the wheels is amazing!

Regular stage 2+ is around 320-330whp right so yes that is pretty amazing and something to look forward to for spring summer :innocent:
