So I chucked the BBS's back on tonight after getting some new front tyres put onto them today. Great to get them back on and now I can fit the R8 calipers. The TT hubs have made the track almost too wide to have the BBS's fitted, but I thought I would see how I get on. First big bump in the road and they bloody catch. They have a cut themselves a new groove line too. Tomorrow there will be some wing removed!!!! Ordering some of these to bring the top of the wheel back in and to add some more camber:They look like great bits of kit and I hope they work.
Yeah that's them Jake.Just setting up as one of their dealers.
Which are the smaller ones Jake? I'm having clearance issues.
Ive been wanting to make up a solid bush to replace the smaller dog bone rubber bush for ages now. The standard one splits really easily and the powerflex seems a compromise. With a solid one not available I thought why not. Its not fitted yet so testing will start on monday. If im happy with it then I (personally) will make a batch of ten to sell (who is up for a group buy maybe) The bush is made of aircraft grade alloy.Other than that, the brackets, hoses and bolts have turned up from DaveB Sporting the winter wheels and tyres too. I quite like it.
It's been on for a while now. Made a noticable improvement, but has increased transmission noise through the car. I'm testing the Vibratechnics bush when I put it on this week to see how it compares to the solid one.
Same setup on the GTI?
