Does anyone here use Quidco???
« on: October 04, 2010, 09:08:12 pm »
Mods - please feel free to delete if neccasary, this really isn't a 'sale' it is actually helping people out (including you if you use it  :happy2:)

Anyway!

Quidco, is a cashback site, so if you shop online, just use their clickthroughs to shops, and you earn cashback on purchases! I usually take about £20-30 a month, sometimes i've earned £200.

IF you click this link to join we both gain, not just me;

http://www.quidco.com/user/58499/10631

For the record, Ive left the default referral share of £1.25 for me and £1.25 for the person signing up so we both get a little bonus.

I got my £20 creditexpert validated yesterday and then cancelled, you simply ring their support number and they send you a confirmation emaiul - £20 for free!

I know it sounds a bit 'wow too good to be true' but it's a genuine site, anyway as I say, mods delete if deemed inappropriate, but hopefully you will see this is a good thing! :o)

Definately mate! Insurance is a proper bonus on there, gas and electric etc, sometimes they have crazy deals like £160 cashback on nPower or something!

Mobile phone contracts are usually good on there, a couple of years ago I got £150 for taking a contract phone out, which I would have done anyway!

For anyone reading, the only 'catch' if you can call it that, is the first £5 cashback you earn, they keep, which is fair enough in my opinion.

Even silly things like buying dvd's through play.com, using Quidco, you get cashback for it! It's a no brainer! Im starting to sound like I work for them now... I'll get my coat!

I used this when I moved my BB to sky and got a fairly hefty chunk of money back.  I took out a BG boiler maintenance contract and got about £50 cashback - thing was I cancelled the maintenance thing about a month in, but still kept the cashback  :ashamed:

Just shows you how much commision there is to sell these products, as said, especially insurance - finance products.  This is the money that the likes of go compare et al keep to themselves everytime you buy through them.

Is this for shopping anywhere??

For example, Ive just placed a £6000 order with Tesco Direct.

I used my credit card, which earnt me £60 in Play.com gift vouchers.
I used my Tesco Clubcard as well, which earnt me £120 in vouchers (double points!).

Could I have used Quidco as well??

Sounds like you could have, the only time your cant use two is when they are both rediverts - e.g. nectar -> amazon and quidco ->amazon - in this case you look which is offereing the best deal.

As long as you use the link within Quidco when you make your purchase the site will automatically track it for you and it will show you the status on your log in page!  :happy2:

As above, if your going to buy stuff, even on eBay, click the link from your Quidco page when you've joined (you'll see what I mean when you sign up, it's not complicated in any way at all).

It's just one of those things that, because you are going to buy from the sites anyway, why not use the click-through from Quidco and get some money!

For the record, nearly £2k from Quidco for me since 2007

Although that said... It's all spent now, mostly on car stuff! :surprised:
