Help urgently needed with failed start following ITG!!
« on: October 05, 2010, 08:01:56 pm »
Gents,

Fitted a second hand ITG Maxogen and following trying to redraft the car... Just turns over, runs for less than a second and dies!

I think the problem is MAF related as when I leave the MAF OUT of the socket, the car runs ok (obviously I don't wanna run it like that for long!

So... I have an additional MAF which does the same.

All hoses are tight etc, nice and smoothly ran through the bay etc. No kinks, gashes, or anything else.

Any help appreciated as I'm stuck on my mates drive!!

Matt

Check your turbo hoses to the fmic, might have popped off. I have had the same symptom, issue was with poising the turbo hose. Worth a check.

Fixed chaps.

Basically, MAF was in backwards because the 3 inch long bit of metal it sits in was backwards!!

Sigh!
