That write up is for the Audi rns-e Scott so will not work with the RNS510,  There is a way of doing the VIM but you need a programmer that cost in excess of £600.

I thought there was a way to do this by pressing a set of buttons in the correct order? I'm sure there's a post about this on here somewhere.

On youtube it appears you can set the video going whilst stationary then press the i button (top right) followed by the TONE button (bottom left) and the video carries on when you pull away. Presumably this only works on certain models and firmwares, though!
