Remapping around West Yorkshire
« on: October 18, 2010, 10:17:07 pm »
Hi all, my mate is after a remap on his car. I've spoken to PDT but they're a bit too far out, I was wondering if anyone else knows of a reliable tuning company that would do it for under £200.

Thanks

Offline Matthew.

£200 in west yorks is a tough one. There is RS Tuning but they will be more than that. I went DNA tuning in Alcester, Warwickshire, With a certain forum discount Stage one is £195.

emaps were very popular when I used to hang around the BMW forums. I got to sit in a few remapped 330d's and they felt great. Everyone used to swear by them and I found the customer service very good. They were not much more than £200 and they come to you. I have seen a few people on here say they would never use a mobile company to map their car but I would have no problem using emaps at all. I have had various cars remapped by a few different tuners now and to be honest I have found that I could rank the maps with the cheapest one actually permorming the best and the most expensive performing the worse. All my experience obviously :happy2:

Thanks for all the replies guys, he wanted to go to a garage in Bradford but I thought it's better if somebody on here has first hand experience. I'll give RS tuning a ring.
