My full sunday name is John Purcell. Purcell is a pretty rare surname and no-one got their head around it at my grammar school! soo...

JPC soon arrived (from one of the teachers actually) J ohn P ur C ell. That kind of stuck as did J or Jay.

And ive been Jay ever since! ive been with steph over 3 years and she doesnt know me as a John, as many on here dont.

....So which Purcell are you related to?:

Or?:

I'll see if I can dig out some photos.
I loved doing the trees and I travelled a fair bit over Europe helping my sensei' kevin Willson.
Essex born and bred but considered one of the best bonsai artists in Europe if not the western world... So I was lucky to have good teacher.
But any help I can give just ask lol.
I still have a few. One is a Caledonian scots pine about 300 yrs old. Couldn't part with it even tho the funds would have poss elevated me to ed30 territory lol

Hardy was my nickname at school.

I am not 'hard' :signLOL:

Its a take on my surname.

And H4RDY is my dream number plate and its on an X5 somewhere!

One day!

Your right mate that number plate is on an X5 and it lives near me (telford). The guy in question owned a (and now opened another)  tyre company which he sold to KwiK fit. Yes he is loaded. My mates ex wife is with him now.  Good luck getting that plate off him lol

I found out it was on a X5 by typing it into a tyre website!

There are a few other options but I am not that bothered to be honest.

I would rather spend the money on MODS!!!

A number plate doesn't make you go round corners faster!

Over and out!

Very true they dont make the car faster but neither do MODS if you cant drive properly!!!  :signLOL:

I thought you were looking for the plate as you stated "one day"

IF or WHEN you can afford a plate, it's a very cool touch and gives your beloved chariot an identity. Mine came up unplanned and I have no regrets - Quite the contrary.

....Why? Because we're male and, like peacocks, like to strut our stuff and say hi to the females "Look at me, I'm a successful male and you want to have my babies!"... or something like that

But it also means we love our cars.

I have 2, and to be honest I would not have bought one if i had the choice.

The first was bought as a lovely surprise present by my mother, who has since passed on, so it is on retention, and will be fitted to the R when I get round to it, as a constant lovely memory.

The other came with the R, and will be getting removed, supposedly worth £1000, but we will see.
