Replacing front wishbones
« on: October 25, 2010, 08:52:19 pm »
If I was to replace the front wishbones with a set from a S3 is there anything I would need to change?  For instance, press new bushes, longer bolts, etc.

Also would I need to get the car tracking redone?

P.S. I already have a WALK fitted.

TIA.

Mo

I think they are plug and play (in respect of not needing any additional bits) - but you would ideally need alignment done - because you need to remove the WALK.

Cheers T_T.  Should I take the opportunity to replace the yellow rubber/plastic bushes in the WALK?

Only if they have visible signs of wear, or are split.  Otherwise just re-grease them.
