In dash map switching.
« on: November 02, 2010, 12:10:48 am »
Does anybody know of a way of doing this?

What I'm talking about is like in Jap cars you can get a stereo din sized unit that allows you to switch between maps for wife/wet weather/crap fuel etc etc.

I'm using revo select and I don't want to change to APR which I understand you can use the cruise control.

I am happy at the moment with Revo and want to go to select + later but was hoping for a more user friendly option.

Looks like if I changed to GIAC I might be able to use their handheld loader and keep it plugged in?

Anybody have this?

Ive seen it done with the old SPS3 unit, but not with the newer SPS or Select Plus.  Give Carl at Revo a call.

You still need to stop the engine and then restart it to switch the map so I guess not much to be gained.  It's not on the fly.

Yes I think that is pretty much the answer I was expecting TBH I am just being lazy.

Just have to get used to doing it when and if.

Thanks.
