I take it the Honda, Ford and Zonda have a German connection?

Zonda yes as it has a Merc engine but the other 2 I will have to pass on.

Actually the reason is the car park was closed so all cars were funneled across the circuit to park.

The M3 CSL with the number plate 161 BMW belongs to BMW UK. It previously had the plate "M3 CSL", but it was foolishly sold to raise funds for charity by a previous Marketing Director.

I don't need to post my pics Ian as they're carbon copies of yours, right down to the portrait of the RS6!

It was bl**dy freezing (especially after 3 weeks of 30+ degress) but a good way to spend a Sunday morning. Although we were a little disappointed at the lack of slightly more exotic German metal - not so much as Carrera GT or an SLR or even SLS despite being quite common now. It was nice to turn up in a relatively rare car though, I only counted 4 MkV R's and a couple of old MKIVs - there were more CSLs than there were R32s! And only one 3dr with Recaros  :happy2:

The spirited drive down with a convoy of Porsches was good fun too. Just a shame about the handful of BMW drivers up-holding the stereo type...

It was good to see yourself and Wigit, albeit briefly, and I will try to have a clean car to display at Goodwood in future!  :ashamed:

Chris - BMW need to look after their cars better, the N/S carbon splitter element was missing!
Only 250.1bhp - but with that noise, who cares?

Mile-muncher ordered: MkVI 1.6 TDi BlueMotion Match DSG with leather, winter pack, luxury pack, fogs, climate control, Dynaudio pack, RCD510 with DAB & MDI, flat tyre indicator

Haha - unfortunately that is also the car that goes to the press for photoshoots/mag features/roadtests, so it was likely the press that have damaged it!!
