Where to get shock absorbers from?
« on: November 11, 2010, 08:02:35 pm »
Hi guys,

Looked on gsf and europarts but cant find the price for the shock absorbers for the edition 30. I've a feeling my left rear one is playing up abit.- Seems abit bouncier than normal.

Does anyone know where to source them?

Cheers

Dealer  :P

But seriously have you tried any scrap yards? Also is the suspension different to a normal GTi?

Part no. is 1K0 513 029 GP

For just the Gas Filled Strut (assuming you need nothing else) it's about £60 according to ETKA but not sure how accurate that price is but it wont be far out.

That's for a 2007 GTi and it seems to be the same for 2006-2008.

What year is your car?

Koni FSD shock paired with either Eibach or H&R springs works well.
