gti or r32 exhaust on gt tdi?? advice needed!!

hey all id like to change my exhaust so i can actually see it lol. will a gti (twin on one side) or r32 (twin in centre) fit on my gt tdi? and will they need any modification? obviously id have to change the rear valance to go with which ever one i fit, hope someone can help, jack

Jack the R 32 one, wont fit without modifying. The GTI one should do no probs. Or you can buy a R 32 style one which will give you the centre exit, if thats what you want.  :happy2:

i want to get the gti  back box for my tdi,the lower gti bumpers are £60 from vw

You can either get a GTi back box or what i did a 170BHP back box.
Both will need cutting to fit as they join in different places to the 140bhp and they are different diameters.

I have no experiance with the GTi back box onto a 140 as i replaced mine with a 170 item. I done this by cutting the old back box off the car where the 170 item will fit but leaving an extra inch or 2 placed two v shaped cuts in the 170 pipe then slid the pipe over the pipe thats on the car then clamped it down. Ive probably not explained it very well so ill put a pic up of the join and hopefully it will make sense :stupid:

Put gti milltek middle and back box on my gt tdi, fitted gti rear vallance sorted.
