Satin Black 17in Monzas?
« on: November 16, 2010, 08:45:15 pm »
Hi guys, I'm trying to decide wether to have my 17in Monzas refurbed and part of that decision is to maybe have them dont in satin black.  The refurb wont happen until after winter though.  However, I have the day off tomorrow and I am considering popping to halfords and picking up a few cans of satin black hammerite smooth and giving the wheels a little change for the winter.

However, however Im worried the black on black (car if black) might look a little chav.....? Are there any pics floating around of 17in monzas in black? Esp on a black car?

TIA

Paul

Would spend a few £ and get some 18" monza 2's rather than do up 17" ones, try a google search for Monza huffs or detroits and you will see how it looks,

I've just sprayed the Cupras alloys satin black, i just used normal halfrauds paint the finish is ok and was mainly to see if i like the look before getting them done properly.

Yes I like that look! Do you think black wheels on a black car may be a little too much?

i think they look great, blak on black :) n they hide brake dust more than silver, they do get a matt look when they need a clean but i find them alot easyer to clean then normal alloys
