I purchased from AwesomeGti.co.uk - They came to about £133.74 Delievered lol. Which in the scheme of things is'nt alot!

Fitting cost me £100 - (About 3 hours labour), and I'm just waiting for them to bed in before i have full alignment (although im not sure how necessary this is? )

Wish you had said that 2 weeks ago. I put some FK highsports I think they were, managed a week and then off they came, gave a VERY low stance, but rode appalingly, swapped them for some AP coilovers, which are nowhere near as good as the Bilsteins that I originally took off in favour of the FK's, but do get it lower, which was what I was after.

Have you considererd H&R springs mate, alot peeps have had them on this forum havent heard bad word yet, im going get set myself next week get them fitted over xmas while off work, not cheap though at £200 but, good all round so i hear??? :happy2:

I paid £100 for my h&r's about 18 months ago, pretty good springs, then £150 at midland VW for fitting and tracking.

I have installed H&R Springs and I can highly recommend them. I wanted to achieve the same result as you, slightly lower but keeping stockish ride comfort and I defo got it with my springs. :happy2:

i have eichbach on mine and couldnt be happier. i,m goig to add walk and arbs next year but the ride has been touch firmer but not harsh.
originally thought coilies but wont bother.got other things to spend that cash on lol

I take it that its ok just to change the springs then, I always thought you would need to change the shocks too, or would that be the case with my gt tdi?
