Discs/pads

Evenin all.
Just a quick one - can anyone confirm that GTI and GT TDI discs pads are the same size!?
Got a full set of discs and pads I bought for my old TDI and though they wouldn't fit but heard somewhere on here that they are the same size? Be nice to get them used.

could be wrong on this Scott but i think the caliper is the same but the discs and pad carriers are different

I've always assumed they'd be different too. Sure it was someone on here said they were the same.
Had them knocking around boxed up in the shed for ages now.

I might be wrong pal, but im think the early mk5 GT TDI had smaller front discs than the GTI and later GT TDI, although i think they had the same size calipers.
