From the LOOK....RNS510 'B' - 'C'

from the Look and you tell the difference from a B version or C?

as they look identical?

For example.....is this a B or C? how would I know it's a C

The LED C version generally comes with a star button in the top right, here is my C version which is LED

I've gotta C LCD but mine does not have the star.
A question I do have is how do I activate the voice control so I can do the dvd on the move as
when I press the I button and tone it only beeps once and the dvd does not play.

You can't, you need a  VIM cable or you need a special cable/ tool (costs more than the RNS) to program the unit, Morty has the cable ;-)

Which hardware (HW) number does it need to be for the LED version?

No he didnt. He said LCD C version

My mistake I read it as LED
