I think I may actually like the look of it. Though wanna see it in another colour other than gold!

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

It will probably be a decent drive though when all said and done.

....Not if the Ford RS is anything to go by. Like driving a small van, styled like a cross-channel ferryboat. Fast, but.... No thank you.

behave.  you might sit up high but the standard RS is as good, maybe even better than a pretty heavily modded Mk5 platform motor  RR you must almost be the ultimate VAG fan boy
that is the worst looking hot hatch ever, the old one was crap but looked ok.

im not a fan of this either.  Id bet it will be good to drive.  fast fords are always good fun

....I'm more of a German car fan than just VAG. Whether it's "better" than my modified Mk5 is very subjective and certainly not my view of the Ford RS - I simply didn't enjoy it enough to even consider buying one. It's fast but that's all. The only Fords which have ever excited me are the American V-engine'd ones and even then, Chevvy's are preferable.

I just don't like Ford styling - IMO it looks cheap and plastic but not plastic in a nice way. Fortunately we all like different things. (I prefer Seats to Skodas too).  :happy2:

....A town in Germany? - If so, not too far from Luxembourg and also Nurburgring.

Now tell me that Ford build cars there!
