GTi rear valance part number??

Guys,

After much deliberation swmbo finally decided on a Golf GT, as a replacement for the old trusty Focus workhorse, we are viewing one on Saturday and hopefully will buy it.  It's an 07 so face lift front, but unfortunately it has that ghastly rear valance in black plastic.  Unfortunately my hands are tied on the modding front although she agrees that this area needs attention.
My plan is to buy a GTi rear valance with the shaped lower portion and get it colour coded, I have found a couple on the bay but only one is allegdely an OE part, can someone confirm the part number so I don't end up with another standard valance!

I dont know the part number but the ones on ebay even the genuine ones are overpriced!

They are £50 from the dealers or there abouts.

When I got mine I used the reg of a GTI on the forecourt and he looked up the part.

Im sure someone will be along with the part number soon enough though

Excellent, thanks for the quick reply! Thats the reason I was after the part number mate, when I got a set of grille inserts for the vRS they were 15+ quid on the bay, TPS wanted £3.50 each.  

This is the part number listed on the ad: 1K6807521 but this is the same number that I found on a seperate advert for the standard flat boring valance.

Actually while I think about it the parts numbers for the GTi honeycomb lower and upper front grilles would be handy.

That why I always use a reg number and get the part number from that.

I doubt you'll get the valance cheaper than TPS unless its used??

Although now I'm confused, is the D9B9 part what defines whether its a Standard/GTi/ED30 or R32 valance, as the code preceeding this is the same for the standard 1.4S valance.....................

She probably wouldn't even notice. 

I have to say, I'm still concerned about this valance part number, searching 'Google'  I come across the same number - minus the last 4 characters D9B9 - and this relates to the standard Bridget Jones affair without the shaped diffuser part!  Maybe I will give TPS a ring in the morning.
