think u were very very consistent tho mike with the runs i saw.

Did you let Tabs have a go in it? think he was lil bit slower (5.7 0-60 from memory)

Ben did a 5.0 i think.

I kind of got a feel quite early, as I fishtailed the whole first run!

Tabs was the bad run, he couldn't turn off the TC

Ben's was strong. Obviously his is mapped and has DCT and LC, but I think it was causing problems launching and sandbagging his times. That's got much more in it.
Sideways yo!

nice to catch up with the usual peeps.  :happy2:

hope the 3 "Scirocco" invaders didn't cause any probs for you guys and girls.

Saw Joe's run in the white 911....very nicely done. Has PDK i take it

Gotta say mighty impressed at how quick JonnyC can change gears in his TTRS and doing some stonking times.

I turned left out of the airfield and followed the signs for Lutterworth. No loose chippings on that road thank god.

No mate, they started putting PDK in them in 09 i think, mines an 08,

i held my foot on the brake and reved it to 2k biting. couldnt believe the time myself. If it had PDK then it would have been in the 10's i recon, am happy with 11.3 though  :pomppomp:

Good to meet a few people didn't stay too long to be honest due to feeling a bit ropey from a late one with lots of alcohol the previous night. Forge and revo bloody cost me a packet though, decided to give the twin take a shot instead of my custom autograph cold air feed filter,  and the intercooler boost pipes, then got the ths intercooler from revo so got some fitting to get done now. Will post my thoughts once I've got it sorted. See the mk1 was there with his parachute putting in some good results again! Didnt get any runs unfortunately due to my top engine and gearbox mount being knackered, this is die to the lower one being replaced and the top two taking the brunt of it now. Should hopefully be sorted next week, going for the vwr uprated ones or are people's views on the bsh just the same?

I only spent a couple of hours there as I was pretty hungover but managed to briefly bump into Al (Big Al) again, who was deep in convo with someone :happy2:

Good to see (I say see, as didn't get chance to chat) you again fella, though you did look like $hit! :signLOL:

JoesGTI, did you come up in your silver MK4? was driving home about 4and kept overtaking/dropping back with one that could have been you?

I really enjoyed the show all in all today, best trade stands I have seen at a show, good quality entertainment (would have liked the half pipe biking to stay on a bit longer) and nice to catch up with a few of you, found it so easy to lose track of time though, was going to come over to the club stand after show and shine judging, but was far too sunburned and  just wanted a nice air conned car to get me home! (Sorry SteveP, especially after you went to the trouble of finding me and giving me the pass)

Nice to meet you all, and if you see me at any more shows, come say hi, as I don't know what any of you look like, but most on here know my car by now I think.  :happy2:
