Help needed coding rns510 and highline
« on: February 04, 2011, 06:33:20 pm »
Fitted my RNS510 today, all works except 2 things:

On mfsw the up/down buttons dont cycle through stations or tracks
The highline doesnt show any nav or audio options.

Volume, mute etc on the mfsw work perfectly. Any ideas?

After I coded the RNS510, I had to reboot it to show up on the highline.

I can code, repair and clone most O.E ECU's, fit aftermarket engine management, I have even built many custom made aftermarket ECU systems and we are busy working on some mapping for a car thats in this years BTCC, so ECU mapping isnt a problem.

However getting my highline system working again is baffling me :booty:

Open VCDS, click on 19 Can Gateway, and select the installation button. That should throw up a list of installed features, and youll need to click number 37 - Navigation

Go into block 19 - Can-Gateway and tick 37 - Navigation

Once that is done you then need to go into block 37 - Navigation and code it to get it to work with highline.

Hardly rocket science and I haven't done any ECU coding for cars in the BTCC or anything else for that matter :booty:

My explanation was better though as i reminded you to code the RNS too.

I'm branching out in to Mapping now. If you can map cars but not know how to use VCDS then I will sh*t hot at mapping as i can use VCDS  :booty:
