Superchips Stage 1
« on: February 10, 2011, 02:03:25 pm »
Hi

Anyone recommend:

a) a good tuner in the Swindon / Chippenham area to carry out a stage 1 Superchips remap on my standard GTi?
b) a rolling road in the same area so I can post some before and after figures?

Also, if anyone has just had a Stage 1 Superchips remap done without intake / exhaust mods I'd be interested to hear about performance improvements / outputs...

Thanks

Russ

I have bluefin stage 1 on my ed30 and would say that the change is dramatic
To be honest there is a bit too much power! it also makes it easier to drive in higher gears at lower speeds , the torque is lower down the rev range. I can drive it at 25-30 in 5th which was not possible prior to remap
Don't know what the change would be on a gti though

The Bluefin Stage 1 was the best remap I ever had on a car !   The change was amazing .... I would thoroughly recommend it
