« on: February 13, 2011, 02:14:42 pm »
Venom advert says 229 for mk5
Anyone used and got feedback for me please?
I'm looking to drop the car in the summer but on a budget -got eichback springs on at mo-
Will I notice a difference in both height and drive?
Anything beta at same sorta price or wait for 2nd hand ones to appear?
Thanks

Use the cash towards some bilstein dampers to go with your current springs, cheap suspension kits =

Get them bought.  Budget coilovers are fine if its for looks and your not heading to track days.  The FK's go low, a good bit lower than your current set up.

I ran fk coilovers for a week, and that was only because it took me 5 days to take delivery of some replacements.
I found them far too crashy and bumpy, not a comfortable ride at all.
Save your money for something better, PM  me if you would be interested in my AP coilovers, very good kit.
