My advice would be to sell your car, if it's your pride and joy it will soon have you in tears the state it will get in if you took it over to the Costa Del Sol. They just don't respect cars over there, my Dad lives in Benalmadena and drives an old Escort diesel shed, and it's a right state after the locals have ridden mopeds, cars, you name it into it!

We have a car in France and no matter what city its been to, its picked up a dent or scratch. They park by touch, open doors until your car prevents it opening any further, swipe themselves along it when walking past, take a rest by putting whatever they're carrying on your roof/bonnet.... you get the picture.

Buy a heap you don't give two hoots about and enjoy the peace of mind.

Oh that would kill me!  It would just sit in the garage all day then!
