Great choice of colour!  :happy2:

I keep wondering what Ed30 front and rear would look like, so would be interested in seeing pics if you go ahead..

Enjoy it!

im defo going to do it, its just when the funds allow me too.

wheels are the first port of call as they are letting the car down.

Looking good.

Wouldn't it have been easier just to buy an ED30? Especially given the amount it's gonna cost + respray setc.
Might be more cost-effective to colour code the bumpers.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

You haven't seen the inside of Derek's car. GTI recaros in leather, all the trimmings. It would be a long hard search to find an Ed like this car. It's gorgeous.

Ps Derek, any pictures of your 'new' ED 30 back end yet?
Waiting on Craig re: mirrors. I'll see him saturday if you haven't already spoken.

no updates as of yet.

have recently been trying to cure my engine rattle. Which have now cured with cam chain, tensioner and adjuster. while i was there i replaced my fuel pump cam follower including cambelt and water pump.

I can now start saving to make the car how i want it.

little update..

just ordered some new wheels, they should be here tomorrow or friday so will post up some pics when there fitted!

Thinking about fitting an r32 rear end with milltek cat back system, dont want it too loud but want it to sound nice on tickover and low revs so will the resonated system be the right choice?

cheers
