Edition 30 - Boost pattern
« on: March 02, 2011, 09:06:41 am »
Hi Guys,

Well had the ED30 a week now and am very impressed, can't wait to give it a detail...

One thing I'm unsure of about the car is the way it pulls through the rev range...

Car is totally standard... so say in 2nd or 3rd from low revs, it comes on boost say 2.5k pulls quite hard then say at4.5k it starts pulling harder... Now it this the 16valves starting to come into play or just the standard mapping? Will Stage 1 bit alot smoother throughout the rev range?

Is this normal? Has there been any map updates that may have not been done?

Cheers,

Dom

Ive not got a map on mine yet, but on my mk4 turbo thats what it does. Its like there is instant power all the way through the rev range, no lag at all. Well worth the money  :happy2:

Completely normal and very fun.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.
