As for cost for iPod's im not sure but i think you have to pay. It will tell you when you try and download if you do. :smiley:

I have a free mirror site bookmarked, so I always get the iPod updates for nuffink anyway! :wink:

Already has all the 4.3 versions on there.

Only thing I was looking forward to on the iPad update was the multitouch gestures - which they have gone and dropped for the consumer version of the update!!
They may release it in iOS5 instead now!!  :sad1:

there was a "rumour" vid regarding it..

3 or 4 fingers:
left and right moved between open apps
up opened the task manager
down closed the current viewed app

its possible it was an ipad only thing, but i dont have an ipad to test.. only iphone

Multitouch gestures were for iPad only, but have been removed from the update for some reason. Apparently they want to refine it and maybe release it in iOS5 instead....

Updated my iPhone last night and now a couple of the text message tones that I assigned to contacts don't sound properly.  Anyone else got this?

The tones that no longer play properly are choo choo and fanfare.

Just going to have a look at the Apple forums to see what they say...

Hmmm, it appears Apple have reduced the length of quite a few of the text tones according to one link.  Looks like I'll have to change choo choo and fanfare now as I miss the texts now they are a lot shorter.
