Damp floor!
« on: March 11, 2011, 10:31:48 pm »
I've got a 2008 3dr gti and have trouble with a damp patch in the drivers footwell, under the mat. VW have had it now for two weeks and can't seem to find where it's coming from. It's booked back in again for a week! :sad1: Anyone else had this problem?

Has your car got a sunroof?
If so,get them to check the water drains from that.If not,try the drains running down each side at the ends of the scuttle panel.
My car had this when I first got it and thanks to some web searching,I found that these sometimes block and allow water into the cabin.
