Lighting Options

are there only three typre of the MK5......and in this order

What is the difference between the standard ones I have and 2? is it just the bulbs?

1) standard ones I have....

2) Halogen Headlights 



3) xenon headlamps

GTI halogens have black inners. Standard ones don't.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Cool....so would there be any reason to upgrade from 1) to 2) ?

Really want R32 Xenons but it's just the price :(

They are good, house mate has recently got a GTI with halogens and much prefer the clean light from my xenons, go on betty you know its worthwhile  :evilgrin:  Arent there some for sale plus swop (not sure if they have gone yet)

5Dr Black GTI, DSG, Leather, Xenons. Retrofitted - Cruise, RNS 510, MFSW, Armrest, Skoda BT, 6cd changer, Monza II's, VW speaker upgrade kit, Lux pack, High-line, new CAN gateway, Polar FIS info display, R32 tinted rear lights, RVC

To Come...NQSBBK, highline CCM.

I went out the other night about 1 in morning, no cars around, I have the xenons and they are excellent, the full beam was immense , I have never known lights like it, the whole of the motorway was lite up . :signLOL:

I notice the fogs look like they have crappy bulbs , can these be changed ?

Xenons are definitely a feature you miss on a car without them, when I swapped my lupo Gti for an mr2 it was like someone had replaced my lights with candles, horrible on country lanes! They were a must for me on the golf.
