Wouldn't mind seeing a full shot with the option wheels. The standard ones still aren't doing it for me.

Are the 35 wheels on the white car more smoked than the red car?
Or is it just my dodgy eyesight?

Like the new red paint, but really liking the white version.

Not keen on the 'option wheel' looks like that Red/Black RS3 wheel but worse IMO.

Yes, they're smoked.
That's why I posted three pics. Three factory options.

I'm liking the White one! I would like to see those 'option' wheels all one colour as well , if they were all silver/black/anthracite/whatever I think they would look better.

^ I can't tell from looking at this pic but are the non-black parts of that wheel diamond-cut clear lacquer? If so.... :stupid: :fighting:

Er, why?

I'd imagine its because VW (any many other manufacturers) have yet to produce a wheel with a diamond cut and lacquered finish that doesnt corrode...

Ah right, so is that even true of the Monza Shadows on the MK6? Are they ploughing on defiantly producing a wheel that corrodes after time?

Still no reason to dislike the wheel!

With the right care and maintenance there is no reason why the finish cannot last as long as many others.......
